I picked up a pencil at five years old, started drawing and never stopped.
Liesbet van Loon
From a young age I have been fascinated by comic book art and animation film. These storytelling devices have steered my path as an artist into adulthood. I graduated from LUCA School of Arts as an animation film student in 2016 and have made a career in the film industry since.
Personally, however, I am driven by my intuition and the physical act of drawing. Themes about human connection and nature keep me engaged in my sketchbooks while I explore visual languages with paint, pencil and ink.
